9th Grade Sculptural Egg Drop

They laughed, they cried, they dropped sculptures down 4 flights to see whose egg would survive. A tradition in VA for freshman, the annual Sculptural Egg Drop took place on December 9th this year. For more information ask any eggy-freshman!!

10th grade loosens up in figure drawing!

Today 10th grade students were challenged by Ms. Brelling to loosen up their drawing techniques. They stood behind their paper using markers taped to the end of a dowel to create their drawings. The end products are larger than life, figure drawings, using only contour line.

Congratulations to our own Jia Lin Li who has received an Artistic Merit Award in the Arts & Business Council’s 2008 Holiday Card Contest.
